Favorite Pic Thursday!

I think this week's theme is going to be entitled Kisses & Snuggles...

An Ewok moved in the neighborhood.

Just this week, my neighbors brought home this little sweetie and I was lucky enough to snap some shots of him at our neighborhood picnic on Saturday. Tucker is a Shih Tzu and can right now fit in the palm of your hands. He has also started my children to ask me on an hourly basis if we can get a puppy!! Welcome to the neighborhood Tucker!

Love in the Garden.

The first time I saw this garden was last summer and my jaw dropped at how beautiful it was! This spring was no different. I got to get some shots of this very cool couple who has been married 23 years!! It made me giggle at how playful and fun they are. P&C-You guys rock and so do your gardens-here is your sneak peek.

Leg warmers are making a comeback...

This little fashion diva showed just how cool leg warmers can look!! It was a great shoot and I had to share the family pick and point out the paci in the right hand corner. I thought to myself, if that isn't real life, I don't know what is!! Z Family- Two thumbs up for both being so laid back and for representing with the iPhone!

Fashion Independence

One of my goals as a parent is to foster independence in my children and one of the ways I do that is to let them dress themselves. While Ben, who is 8, picks out his own clothes everyday, Cate and Alex get to pick whatever they want to wear once or twice a week. This morning, Alex put together this very hip outfit. Did you notice the chic way he buttoned the too small shirt over the festive tye dye?? After asking Alex if he thought all of his clothes went together, he commented "Mommy-there is Blue in everything so it matches". And there you have it. I can't wait to see what he will put together in his teenage years!!

Favorite Pic Thursday

As much as I love to get eye contact with huge catchlights in a subjects eyes, sometimes an expression that cracks me up is worth it's weight in gold. For example, while I was changing settings, this little cutie kept doing this while waiting for me to be ready. Loved it!
