Favorite Pic Thurs!

Couple of weeks ago, I bought a bread bowl off of ebay.  Now this was not any boring bread bowl, this is a circa 1840 antique bread bowl that came over with the sellers grandmother from Ireland.  It is beat up and very rustic looking and of course that just adds to its charm.  Now the reason I bought this kick butt bread bowl was because I knew I had a newborn session coming up.  It just so happens that that the Daddy of this little guy is actually from Ireland (love his accent).  How perfect is that!!

Love, Love, LOVE this family shot! You know that I am more the fun lovin' family photographer, but I thought this looked so cool!  The true star of this photo shoot was Mr. "M".   I did his sister's senior portraits last year and his Mom wanted to have some shots of him hanging up in the house too!  As you can see, he was up for the challenge.  Thanks "C" family for a awesome downtown shoot!

 

Almost at 20,000 hits!!!!

I took a look at my blog stats tonight and I am floored!! For anyone who does not know this, I hit 10,000 in December and had a HUGE blowout sale for all of my customers.  I promised that I would have another one when I hit 20,000-so stay tuned!

Three times is a charm!

Since we got rained out two other times-I thought it might be a good idea to bring my cool umbrella for this couples shoot!

This is a lucky man!

With three gorgeous women giving him huge hugs, it is no wonder this guy is smiling!!  Most of our shoot was done in Lancaster County's Central Park, but I did find the coolest patch of Zinnias that we got some shots at as well!
Okay-For those who are actually reading this blog... Contest Time!!!   I certainly love Zinnias, however the first person to leave a comment on what my absolute favorite flower is wins an 8x10!

Maternity shoot with a little "Urban Flavor"

This expectant Mom was up for anything, so I drove her all around Lancaster City!  My favorite shots are these two-she looks so beautiful, calm and HOT!!  Best wishes "S" you are going to be a fantastic Mom!

Newlyweds...

I was away on vacation and did not get to shoot this couples wedding, but they told me it rained quite a bit!  So to say this new bride was unhappy that it was starting to storm is an understatement.  We had about 15 minutes before it rained like crazy (with some thunder and lightning).  This is really the only kind of rain I won't shoot in.  But trying to stay positive I told these guys that rain is good luck- wedding day and pics after the wedding day :) We did manage to capture a few that I thought I would share...

Happy belated 4th to everyone!  After getting back from vacation with the fam, I am fighting to get caught up and fighting off a wicked chest cold ( yes, that seal sound you hear is from me).  Bear with me, I have some great news, cool images and new products to share coming up in the next couple of weeks!  But I do have an image that I love from the Lancaster Fest fireworks.  This is the clock from Lancaster's Old Courthouse. It was the first time I ever tried to take "real" firework shots!
